what instruments do you offer lessons for?
we offer lessons for most instruments including: piano, guitar, voice (singing), bass, drums (percussion), violin, viola, cello, up-right bass (bass-violin), flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, and trombone. instruments that are not mention (such as harp, tuba, oboe, bassoon, etc.) are not currently offered, but please feel free to contact us for either teacher recommendations or to start when we have a teacher join our faculty for those instruments.
what is a lab lesson?
a lab lesson is a learning session conducted in our music lesson lab. students use a music work station constructed of a Mac computer, professional level microphones and headphones, a midi keyboard, interface plug-ins for instruments, comprehensive multi-level music education software, recording software and composition software. students that learn with a lab lesson in addition to their private lesson learn faster and more effectively. students that take private lessons elsewhere (not at Absolute) are still welcome to register for lab lessons.
how do I register for lessons?
there are various ways to register. you may register online, download the registration form and email it in, or schedule an appointment to come to the school. please call us at (630) LESSONS or email us at to schedule a director meeting or a trial lesson.
what is the cost of lessons & classes?
lesson programs range from $49/month - $200/month for half-hour and one-hour weekly lesson options. classes start at $59/month for 45-minute weekly classes.
what type of recording & video productions do you offer?
we offer all types of recording services for students and musicians in our professional recording studio. recording options for demo's, audition recordings, and full albums. music video productions for single or multiple songs. we provide song writing help, student coaching, sound engineers and professional musicians to perform with you on your recordings or videos. videos are a great way for students and aspiring musicians to share their music online with family, friends and the music industry.
